nothing is “black and white”…because this is converted to BW you “see” the seashell sticks out from the rest of the rocks….in reality the rocks are a spectrum of colors, all uniquely different. i thought at first to post it in color but what i wanted to convey was that we only see what we know or at least to our understanding. our mind has a capacity to understand so much more.. to change intellect to wisdom.
one of the many reasons why i love photography, it allows us to see a view we had not thought of.

taken this morning on my walk to coffee, this is right next to the sidewalk in the middle of the city. not an unusual sight however distressing. the statistics are overwhelming…tragically humans everywhere suffer under their own demise…polluting our bodies, minds and earth!
