Strawberry Fields Forever

115.365

Let me take you down, ’cause I’m going to Strawberry Fields.
Nothing is real and nothing to get hungabout.
Strawberry Fields forever.

Living is easy with eyes closed, misunderstanding all you see.
It’s getting hard to be someone but it all works out, it doesn’t matter much to me.
Let me take you down, ’cause I’m going to Strawberry Fields.
Nothing is real and nothing to get hungabout.
Strawberry Fields forever.

No one I think is in my tree, I mean it must be high or low.
That is you can’t you know tune in but it’s all right, that is I think it’s not too bad.
Let me take you down, ’cause I’m going to Strawberry Fields.
Nothing is real and nothing to get hungabout.
Strawberry Fields forever.

Always, no sometimes, think it’s me, but you know I know when it’s a dream.
I think I know I mean a ‘Yes’ but it’s all wrong, that is I think I disagree.
Let me take you down, ’cause I’m going to Strawberry Fields.
Nothing is real and nothing to get hungabout.
Strawberry Fields forever.
Strawberry Fields forever.

Blackbird

114.365

Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these broken wings and learn to fly
All your life
You were only waiting for this moment to arise.

Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these sunken eyes and learn to see
All your life
You were only waiting for this moment to be free.

Blackbird fly Blackbird fly
Into the light of the dark black night.

Blackbird fly Blackbird fly
Into the light of the dark black night.

Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these broken wings and learn to fly
All your life
You were only waiting for this moment to arise
You were only waiting for this moment to arise
You were only waiting for this moment to arise.

lyrics by The Beatles

this is a series of photos from the UA campus..now that school is out it is wonderful to take a walkabout and score some captures without getting in trouble with parking, pedestrian traffic…this is my favorite building..the Dance school!  i am still waiting for an evening performance to catch the light from within, then it is pure magic from the facade screens the light dancing thru!

Got To Get You Into My Life

113.365

I was alone, I took a ride,
I didn’t know what I would find there
Another road where maybe I could see another kind of mind there

Ooh, then I suddenly see you,
Ooh, did I tell you I need you
Every single day of my life

You didn’t run, you didn’t lie
You knew I wanted just to hold you
And had you gone you knew in time we’d meet again
For I had told you

Ooh, you were meant to be near me
Ooh, and I want you hear me
Say we’ll be together every day

Got to get you into my life

What can I do, what can I be,
When I’m with you I want to stay there
If I’m true I’ll never leave
And if I do I know the way there

Ooh, then I suddenly see you,
Ooh, did I tell you I need you
Every single day of my life

Got to get you into my life
Got to get you into my life

I was alone, I took a ride,
I didn’t know what I would find there
Another road where maybe I could see another kind of mind there

Then suddenly I see you,
Did I tell you I need you…

yes..i believe i serenade my washing machine daily! there are many that do without but i am ever so grateful that i have one…i imagine the hours involved in doing this by hand and wonder how my life would be altered by time…

I Am The Walrus

112.365

I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together.
See how they run like pigs from a gun, see how they fly.
I’m crying.

Sitting on a cornflake, waiting for the van to come.
Corporation tee-shirt, stupid bloody Tuesday.
Man, you been a naughty boy, you let your face grow long.
I am the eggman, they are the eggmen.
I am the walrus, goo goo g’joob.

Mister City Policeman sitting
Pretty little policemen in a row.
See how they fly like Lucy in the Sky, see how they run.
I’m crying, I’m crying.
I’m crying, I’m crying.

Yellow matter custard, dripping from a dead dog’s eye.
Crabalocker fishwife, pornographic priestess,
Boy, you been a naughty girl you let your knickers down.
I am the eggman, they are the eggmen.
I am the walrus, goo goo g’joob.

Sitting in an English garden waiting for the sun.
If the sun don’t come, you get a tan
From standing in the English rain.
I am the eggman, they are the eggmen.
I am the walrus, goo goo g’joob g’goo goo g’joob.

Expert textpert choking smokers,
Don’t you thing the joker laughs at you?
See how they smile like pigs in a sty,
See how they snied.
I’m crying.

Semolina pilchard, climbing up the Eiffel Tower.
Elementary penguin singing Hari Krishna.
Man, you should have seen them kicking Edgar Allan Poe.
I am the eggman, they are the eggmen.
I am the walrus, goo goo g’joob g’goo goo g’joob.
Goo goo g’joob g’goo goo g’joob g’goo.

Day Tripper

111.365

another capture from my own yard…funny thing i have noticed is how more “aware” and mindful i have become since i started this journey of documenting this precious human life by way of moments and how ordinary is truly extraordinary!! one just needs to have an open mind to see the subtle reality in every illusion, or is that the illusion in every reality!?

taken in my yard of a succulent plant. it is very sensual in this capture yet what i was drawn to was the “Stairway to Heaven” it depicted in its intricate leaf patterns rising towards the sky.  i love the abstract of nature because it does give us something else to  ”see” within the obvious. it’s subtle beauty, it’s strength and mystery.

Baby’s In Black

109.365

Oh dear, what can I do?
Baby’s in black and I’m feeling blue,
Tell me, oh what can I do?
She thinks of him and so she dresses in black,
And though he’ll never come back, she’s dressed in black.
Oh dear, what can I do?
Baby’s in black and I’m feeling blue,
Tell me, oh what can I do?
I think of her, but she only thinks of him,
And though it’s only a whim, she thinks of him.
Oh how long will it take,
Till she sees the mistake she has made?
Dear what can I do?
Baby’s in black and I’m feeling blue,
Tell me, oh what can I do?
Oh how long it will take,
Till she sees the mistake she has made?
Dear what can I do?
Baby’s in black and I’m feeling blue,
Tell me, oh what can I do?
She thinks of him and so she dresses in black,
And though he’ll never come back, she’s dressed in black.
Oh dear, what can I do?
Baby’s in black and I’m feeling blue,
Tell me, oh what can I do?

lyrics byThe Beatles

this is an abstract of a bench, which sits on my porch!  ”baby’s in black and i’m feeling blue” the lyrics speak of a love gone by way of choices…this bench holds hundreds of holes cut out and is powder coated with a synthetic plastic to withstand the weather..this bench reminded me of the many choices we make in every day life, love being one of them, true love and compassion withstands the weather of times.

No Reply

108.365

This happened once before,
When I came to your door,
No reply.
They said it wasn’t you,
But I saw you peep through your window,
I saw the light, I saw the light,
I know that you saw me,
’cause I looked up to your face.

I tried to telephone,
They said you were not home,
That’s a lie,
’cause I know where you’ve been,
I saw you walk in your door,
I nearly died, I nearly died,
’cause you walked hand in hand
With another man in my place.

If I were you’d realize that I
Love you more than any other guy,
And I’ll forgive the lies that I
Heard before when you gave me no reply.

I’ve tried to telephone,
They said you were not home,
That’s a lie,
’cause I know where you’ve been,
I saw you walk in your door,
I nearly died, I nearly died,
’cause you walked hand in hand
With another man in my place.

No reply, no reply.

lyrics by The Beatles

walking to the stadium of the UA for graduations yesterday i saw this typical house which could’ve been in any tucson neighborhood and realized just how random and different each person chooses to live in the definition of “home”.  with our state being under radar and close watch by the nation due to our governor signing into laws some very confrontational issues for public schools, immigration, weapons….it’s made me question what is the definition of “home”? is it just an attachment of mind?

No Reply..the lies that bind us!

Twist And Shout

107.365

Well, shake it up, baby, now, (shake it up, baby)
Twist and shout. (twist and shout)
C’mon c’mon, c’mon, c’mon, baby, now, (come on baby)
Come on and work it on out. (work it on out)

Well, work it on out, honey. (work it on out)
You know you look so good. (look so good)
You know you got me goin’, now, (got me goin’)
Just like I knew you would. (like I knew you would)

Well, shake it up, baby, now, (shake it up, baby)
Twist and shout. (twist and shout)
C’mon, c’mon, c’mon, c’mon, baby, now, (come on baby)
Come on and work it on out. (work it on out)

You know you twist your little girl, (twist, little girl)
You know you twist so fine. (twist so fine)
Come on and twist a little closer, now, (twist a little closer)
And let me know that you’re mine. (let me know you’re mine)

Well, shake it, shake it, shake it, baby, now. (shake it up baby)
Well, shake it, shake it, shake it, baby, now. (shake it up baby)
Well, shake it, shake it, shake it, baby, now. (shake it up baby)
