You’ve Got To Hide Your Love Away
032/365

Here I stand head in hand
Turn my face to the wall
If she’s gone I can’t go on
Feelin’ two-foot small
Everywhere people stare
Each and every day
I can see them laugh at me
And I hear them say
Hey you’ve got to hide your love away
Hey you’ve got to hide your love away
How could I even try
I can never win
Hearing them, seeing them
In the state I’m in
How could she say to me
Love will find a way
Gather round all you clowns
Let me hear you say
Hey you’ve got to hide your love away
Hey you’ve got to hide your love away
this is Marion DeGrazia…wife of Tucson’s famous artist Ted DeGrazia. she died back in 2003 at the age of 97. there is a long story of the two….i was able to know and see more of their personal history because my father was a close friend and did his lithographic reproductions. i grew up watching his gallery being built and his persona. i chose this Beatles lyrics for many reasons known to me….
in this picture one can see Marion did not like the camera or intrusion. she was a very private individual and her energy emitted this. she lived 25 years past Ted’s death and managed his legacy…
love….should never be hidden away…for whatever reason, karma, there is always a cause and effect.
